We are recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager and as a key member of the Marketing Department you will become committed to the ambition of becoming the best in the industry, delivering market leading products and an inspirational experience across all brand touch points.

You will play a lead role in the development and execution of the business's product strategy to significantly promote turnover, increase brand awareness, and accelerate the commercial pace and market perception of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing product and marketing related plans to ensure the company objectives are met in line with the strategy, budgets, and sales forecasts
Work in conjunction with the appropriate departments to effectively project manage and plan all new product/range launches to the market to agreed time frames
Continuously look for opportunities for product development based on the maintenance of accurate recording systems and sound analysis including existing product for the sector
Develop, maintain, and provide proposals based on accurate recording of product sales and trends
Ownership of product pricing and on-going competitor bench marking.
Ongoing maintenance and development of the product mix to maximise profitability and develop range authority
Recommend actions to extend or terminate product life cycles within the sector
Collate, maintain, and report on market intelligence and competitor activity and put forward proposals based on accurate analysis including bench marking activity regarding products, services, policies, and design themes
Develop and maintain a detailed level of technical knowledge of product, using this knowledge, you will provide your creative input into each project
Deliver regular competitor and pricing analysis to ensure correct product positioning in relation to the market and effective margin levels
Responsible for the development and maintenance of all sector literature and POS requirements in conjunction with the Head of Marketing
Assist in the preparation and management of exhibitions, customer days and launch events
Responsible for the development and enhancement of the Utopia website, specifically including new interactive features moving forward Visualise and redefining how customers engage with our product portfolio and view and access all technical support information
Set plans and work with our design agency to design and deliver a robust Communications and Marketing strategy to ensure end to end promotion of future new products
Develop and produce training documentation and deliver appropriate training sessions for internal and external customers, as well as developing an online training portal and programme for the business
Liaise and co-ordinate with CAD Companies, ensuring product files are kept up to date and new products added prior to launch date
Support and Co-ordinate CGI of new products, including the design of room sets and styling as appropriate
Work with the Head of Marketing in producing plans for PR activities/plans, social media campaigns and updates to the company website
Responsible for developing content for agreed customer brochures, emails, and direct mail
Opportunity to develop marketing skills through involvement in special marketing and product projects
Timely reporting and analyses of brand and product performance monthly and annually including segmentation by market, customer, and product
Actively participate in enhancing team members knowledge of both the business and the product range
Assist in inductions of new personnel into the business to widen the scope of product knowledge, codes, descriptions etc
You may need to carry out any other duties within the business as and when required. This list is not exhaustive and may be changed at any time to include other tasks. You may also, at times, be expected to cover for other members of the marketing team, and therefore carry out some or all of the tasks set in their job description

Person Specification:

You will be able to work effectively within a team and without supervision

Be pro-active, approachable innovative and analytical
A high level of product knowledge would be desirable but not essential
You will be an energetic, passionate, driven individual capable of delivering a wide range of projects at pace
You will have had a minimum of 5 years' marketing experience and 3 years' management level experience within a marketing department
You must be a strategically minded, results driven marketing professional with a practical "not afraid to get your hands dirty" attitude and be capable of leading improvements and change
Experience of building strong and lasting customer relationships
You will have strong written and communications skills
The role will require some travel within the UK and possible overseasThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
