My client are a global company within the manufacturing industry who have multinational operations. They use a copyrighted software that is developed in house by the development teams, which is used in collaboration with global house hold brands' requirements.
My client's software engineers problem-solving, innovative and har-working, using the latest
Microsoft and Opensource stack. They are seeking professional Software Developers who would thrive in a fast paced and value driven environment.
About the role
The Software Developer will be working in an agile environment that is modern and has a supportive team alongside them. This will involve working with key stakeholders and external parties in which you will prioritise and allocate your time to their business objectives.
You will sit on part of the team that's building and designing software solutions which is used by thousands of people worldwide. The Software Developer will be delivering will be working on the original concepts through to the implementation.
The Software Developer's typical day will be in stand-up with their scrum-team, pair with teammates and lead on a complex technical design task. The basics will be writing some tests, implementing your applications, design and architect system requirements, review a pull request, mentor a teammate or group, planning and prioritising your future work and working with Business Analysts on a new feature, pair with the QA team in testing and debussing a sprint deliverable and documenting your work and collaborating in a whiteboard design session!
Ideally, the Software Developer is expected to have in-depth knowledge of at least one or more of the following languages
- C#.NET (preferred)
A significant understanding of one or more of the following:
- ASP.NET/Web Applications
- MS Visual Studio
- MS SQL Server/SSRS
- Azure DevOps (VSTS)
- GIT would also be desirable.
What is essential is that you:
It's essential that the Software Developer is dedicated to producing clean and testable highly maintainable code and can thrive working in collaboration with a wider team. You will always want to help and support more junior team members and communicate effectively .
Ideally, as a Senior Developer, you will have a degree or equivalent in a computer science or engineering related field, software development and testing experience with the ability to manage and deliver software projects following agile methodology
