The Role:

• Design, develop and maintain back-end services
• Work across the full development life cycle and mentor a small team of dedicated hard-working colleagues, supporting their professional growth
• Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and robust code
• Mentor, develop and support team members
• Implement best practice to deliver high-quality, performing and scalable solutions
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs and other issues, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help set and maintain code quality standards and testing regimes The Person:
• Highly proficient in C and the .NET framework / .Net Core
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, RESTful services and API design
• Team player who takes enjoyment from imparting knowledge and developing others
• Commercial experience of Entity Framework 6 / Entity Framework Core
• Ability to implement automated testing
• unit tests, integration tests, smoke test etc
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOpsCI and CD pipelines
• Experience monitoring and managing Microsoft Azure resources The Package:
