Our client a Data consultancy specialising in the Cyber Security space, are looking to hire a Big Data Engineer / Techncal Consultant to help build, test and deploy their platform and solutions to their clients.

You will have responsibility for:

• Owning technical and development aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle including building and configuring new requirements, testing, validation and deployment of their platform and its components

• Supporting customers during their testing phases

• Assembling releases in an Agile methodology and driving improvements in the release process

• Identifying and removing technical roadblocks for the technical team

• Supporting the Sales team with technical expertise

Skills and Experience required:

• 2+ years of work experience in software development, customer delivery, technical delivery

• Unix/Linux environments, including basic admin and scripting

• Ansible

• SQL

• Hadoop (including Hive, Spark)

• Git (including GitLab)

• NiFi

• Ability to configure and modify existing product code to suit client requirements
