We are urgently seeking Advanced Nurse Practitioners who have experience in training to work in newly created ‘COVID Train the trainer’ roles nationwide.
All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.
What we are looking for?
With preparations now moving ahead for the rollout of mass testing for Covid-19 in settings such as schools from the new year, we are working with a national training provider to recruit experienced training clinicians to help run ‘train the trainer’ sessions, in order to induct and train field-based trainers to go out and deliver training at a local site level to testers.
As a Registered Healthcare Professional at Band 5/6 or above, you will also need to demonstrate experience of delivering training in your previous or current roles and ideally, but not essentially, possess a Certificate in Training Practice (or equivalent).
About the roles
The roles will involve delivering training across major cities across the UK and applicants must be prepared to travel to different venues/locations and potentially be able to stay overnight for blocks of days if required (not essential for all locations).
As a ‘train the trainer’ you will be required to run 2 training sessions per day in designated training venues (. hotels or other training venues) and each session you deliver will be to up to 5 delegates to maintain social distancing.
The sessions you deliver will involve training the delegates to upskill and enable them in turn to go out into the community settings to train Covid testers at a local level.
£25-£35 per hour (dependent on band and/or experience).
Length of Booking/Number of Sessions:
To start 4th Jan and work on-going.
Monday to Friday
Yes if required to travel to a location that requires it.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements:
Successful applicants must will need:
- To be a Registered Healthcare Professional at Band 5/6 or above.
- To be able to demonstrate experience of delivering training in your previous or current roles and ideally, but not essentially, possess a Certificate in Training Practice (or equivalent).
- To hold registration with your relevant professional body (either NMC, HSPC or GPhC)
