Voice Engineer - Avaya

Job Purpose:

Global technology company are recruiting for a technically strong, motivated individual to complement an existing Global Voice team. The role will be to provide technical resource for both BAU and Project work. The BAU will be for both the new Avaya Aura 8 contact Centre and the managed service Contact Centre with Red Box voice recording. Both solutions are Enterprise scale Telephony solutions within a Contact Centre Environment (ACD Agents / IVR’s / Queues etc.) with capability for next generation features such as OmniChannel and WFM. Experience with AACC and IVR Scripting would be highly desirable for this role.

The role is to understand the Business requirements and to fully leveraging the solutions to maximise return on investment, ensuring that tech is both reliable and ready to meet the companies growing requirements. Experience of Multi/Omni Channel Call centre deployments is highly desirable. You need to be passionate about the tech and be able to communicate well providing opinion into the Global leads to provide influence over our communication direction. The role is truly global and you will be responsible to upgrade legacy technologies - Auto Diallers, local PABXs -legacy reporting technologies and incorporate these office into Global standards.

What will you be doing?

You will be a key resource for new projects, contributing to scoping and designed to ensure effectively the Voice team are able to sell "the art of the possible" to the business to ensure tech is a Business enabler.

You must also come from a background where you have maintained enterprise class Call centres on the Avaya platform plus knowledge of Mitel technologies is also important to be able to communicate issues to our service provider. You will be a technical lead for the all voice services and help to define standards and Financial Industry best practices. The role will be to deliver new services and solutions through all stages of their delivery, requirements, design, procurement, implementation, commissioning, documentation and support.

You must have experience and be comfortable in taking complex challenges and translating them into a clear set of logical actions.
