Toolmaker (Injection Mould)

MDE are looking for a highly experienced Injection Moulding Toolmaker. You will have experience with injection mould tooling, 3 axis CNC and tool maintenance/refurbishment. All toolmaking is for propriatory use.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the the delivery of injection mould tools inkeeping with project goals and opjectives.
• Follow strict health and safety protocols
• Tool maintenance to the highest standard.
• Ability to interpret requirements & communicate with the management team
• Oversee Injection Mould Toolroom and supervise machine set up.
• Support with Tool changes when needed
• Ability to accurately to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to use Solid Works (or similar 3D cad tool)
• 3 axis CNC Vertical milling Machine
• Spark erosion
• Manual machining
• Ability to work to the highest of tolerances / standards
• Ability to use CNC machine in order to set parameters and select drills
• Possess excellent computer skills and ability to write technical reports and SOPs;
• Work to detailed complex drawing independently on tools from initial design review
