IT Network and Security Engineer Milton Keynes

We are looking for a Network and Security Engineer to join a company with providing of consultancy services and componentbased products and solutions for the captive finance, leasing, and financial services markets.

Primary objectives *In the role you will administer, build and maintain IT security solutions for the organisation in line with Information Security industry standards and best practices.

Requirements of the role Primary Cisco Firepower configuration and implementation VLAN 802.1Q configuration L3 switch configuration to implement L3 routing and L3/L4 packet filtering Logical Access Management design and implementation. Administer, build and maintain IT technical security solutions. Microsoft Azure AIP, Exchange, DLP Implementation of new security technology Carry out network, infrastructure security tests, analysing the outcomes and make recommendations for security improvements *Test security solutions using industry standard analysis criteria

Required technical skills Cisco Firepower qualified (or equivalent demonstrable experience); policy based routing, IDS/IPS, URL filtering, AD integration, VPN Cisco Security qualified (or equivalent demonstrable experience) Switches, VLAN 802.1Q Understanding of security tools IDS/IPS, patching, vulnerability management, penetration test and remediation. L3/L4 Networks, routing, switching, Access Control lists / groups. Microsoft Active directory, Group Policies. Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention. Knowledge of information security frameworks for example ISO27001, NIST800, SANS20. Windows operating systems Application security and encryption technologies Secure network architectures Network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols, etc.) Desirable Certifications CCNP Security: Cisco Certified Network Professional Security GSEC / GCIH / GCIA: GIAC Type Security Certifications *CISSP/CISM: Certified Information Systems Security Professional
