We are currently looking for Sewing Machinists to work for one of our clients in Ashby de la Zouch

The client is a world leading supplier and constructor of photographic light management equipment. Building and supplying filters, back grounds and other third-party photographic accessories

The role will involve working on the manufacture of their products with the main responsibilities as follows:

1. The machining (sewing) of company products to comply with Quality standards

2. To be flexible across all product/machine types

3. To achieve manufacturing efficiency and productivity targets

The successful applicants will be experienced in the use of Sewing Machines such as Lockstitch and Overlock, although this can be on a hobby basis as opposed to work.

Candidates will ideally have worked with technical fabrics although this is not essential. In addition, knowledge of different sewing machine types/applications would also be desirable.
