Our very good friends who run a boutique consultancy are looking for a Product Manager, someone who lives and breaths digital and would like to work for a company who have just been named 'one to watch' also 'Tech company of the year' in 2020!
Founded 4 years ago now just over 100 wonderful people their solutions drive performance and reduce costs while helping their clients to improve the management and sharing of data across a range of mostly public sector organisations.
As a Digital Product Manager, you will have a hands-on background and lead their development teams in the delivery of digital and data products for their government clients on-time and on budget. You'll be responsible for the quality of their products, from delivery assurance through to user experience, working in a fast-paced environment and instilling best practice, continual learning and improvement in the agile teams.
Agile leadership using Scrum and Kanban
Working within technical environments with a high-level of data privacy and security considerations
A strong technical understanding and ability to communicate with technical and design/UX teams to lead all teams through to delivering the best possible products
Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Driven products is essential
Experienced in delivering products and services to the Government Digital Standards (GDS)
Coaching of team members to develop their potential
Extremely knowledgeable about your data driven product's decisive, visionary and able to support your decisions with research organised and able to work to deadlines and roadmaps.
A very strong and clear communicator, with a variety of stakeholders at different levels of seniority and knowledge
Good at persuasion and negotiation
Actively seeking to learn new skills in existing specialties as well as in new areas, including both technical, non-technical and domain/industry-specific areas
Experience in the Aviation sector desirable
As a team they are collaborative, hardworking, open, and delivery obsessed. There is no blame culture there - try things, and take responsibility for the outcomes. They help their colleagues out, and take pride in achieving those difficult things. They run towards problems, and help solve them. Communicate always, and do so accurately, and in timely fashion.
They're also a really nice bunch of people, clever and adventurous, doing cool things in tech.
This is a new role for the business and looking for someone who can push boundaries and achieve great things!
They are fully remote at the moment but would like this person to travel to Croydon 2-3 times a week post covid. Salary up to £80,000 with a brilliant benefit package.
