Care Home Manager, Guildford GU1 2BT We are working on behalf of a progressive care provider to recruit an experienced Residential Care Home Manager to take the lead of their care home in Guilford.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who has extensive management experience in an elderly nursing home setting.

You should be either a Registered Manager or experienced Deputy Manager looking to develop and take the next step.

Our clients Care Home in Guildford is a residential home that accommodates up to 33 people, specialising particularly in dementia care.

Salary will be starting at £35,000 per year, with incentives and potential to earn bonuses.

The Registered Manager role is key in ensuring the safe day-to-day running of the service, as well as continually looking for ways to develop the service.

We are looking for an experienced and resilient professional who can manage competing demands and priorities work effectively.

The role requires applicants who are confident decision makers and who can stay calm under pressure.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the Nursing Home operates within the national and legislative framework timely and developing the service provision for supporting Elderly client group.

While in this role you will need to demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm to lead the development of the principles of equality and diversity in employment and service delivery.

You should hold a relevant qualification in health and social care as well as additional qualifications in leadership/management, with evidence of continuing professional development.

As Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management and success of the service, ensuring quality standards are achieved whilst providing strong leadership and support to the staff team.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in Care Home Management and will have evidence of managing and sustaining a good rating with CQC.

Skills/Qualifications: Management Qualification such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership / Management Knowledge of CQC Guideline The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' deputy or management experience in a Care Home Setting, hold a minimum Level 5 NVQ in care and must have experience of return you will receive: They have excellent learning and development opportunities Competitive salary and automatic inclusion in Pension SchemeIf you would like to know more or are applying for a job through us.
