About The Role To be responsible for the development, promotion and operational management of the Children and Young People’s Services in Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.

Whilst ensuring good practices regarding high quality interventions enabling children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.

The post holder will be involved in a large portfolio of services to meet the varied mental and emotional needs of Children and Young People.

The Post Holder Will Be Responsible For: The operational management of specified services within Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.

The development of specified services and the necessary tools and resources with staff to ensure that these services are effective and successful.

The line management of designated staff, providing regular recorded supervision and annual appraisals.

Managing crisis situations in consultation with the Team Leader, Senior Operational Manager and staff team, in line with the procedures of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind.

The collection and interrogation of data regarding referrals and outcomes to evaluate and report on the effectiveness of the service.

Support the implementation and delivery of service plans with key priorities.

Work with key partners and adults in the child’s life in a systemic way to ensure needs are met.

Work closely with health services within Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT).

You Will Have ⁃ A registration in a profession such as Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Counselling.

(Applicants will not be accepted without this) ⁃ You will be adaptable in your approach and a motivational and inspiring leader who is able to promote and encourage change.

⁃ Knowledge and passion for the systemic needs of CYP, who are vulnerable due various emotional and mental health unmet needs.

⁃ You will have knowledge and understanding of varied clinical and evidence-based models for CYP to create and sustain change.

⁃ You will have a proven track record of partnership working, excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and present complex information to professionals, parents, carers.

What We Can Offer You The following are just some of the benefits that Coventry and Warwickshire Mind offer its employees: Clinical Supervision – We will pay for you to have regular clinical supervision (if required) to ensure counselling/therapeutic practice is ethically safe and in accordance with registration.

Annual Leave – 25 days plus bank holidays plus an extra day for each completed holiday year of service to a maximum of 5 additional days after ten holiday years of service.

Life Insurance Policy – From 1st October 2020, all employees of Coventry and Warwickshire Mind are covered by a Life Insurance policy.

You will be auto-enrolled onto the scheme from day one of service and are covered for the duration of your working life with the organisation or until your 75th birthday, if still employed by CW Mind.

The cover is for a payment of 2 x gross salary (tax free), should you die whilst in service with CW Mind.

Sick Leave and Pay – On completion of 6-month probation, Coventry and Warwickshire Mind employees will be entitled to sick pay which ranges from 4 weeks full pay to 8 weeks full pay for employees with over two years’ service.
