This is an initially 6 month contract, with expected multiple extensions due to the size of the project.
This is currently mainly remote.
After the lockdown, travel to sites in the UK and Europe is completely covered by the client, this includes all transportation and hotel accommodation.
The day rate for this role will negotiable based on experience and market rates.

Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Use Cases) Review and approve Functional Designs (FD) and Technical Designs (TD), Interface Specifications (IS) and data mappings for the E2E solution, liaising with cross-functional teams to achieve high quality designs Ensure that the E2E Solution Architecture remains up to date throughout the lifecycle of the project and that it represents the solution which is deployed Act as the Connectivity domain technical authority throughout all project lifecycle stages; from assessment, design, build, test to production Direct a design change control process/board to ensure that all changes are considered in relation to the end-to-end design baseline Adhere to guidelines established by (Enterprise) Architecture, Operations, and Information Security for all solutions Knowledge, Skills & Experience Extensive experience as an E2E or Solution Architect in tier-1 operators Solid understanding of the telecommunications industry and technologies, in particular around connectivity service delivery architectures, ranging from IT platforms to access technologies and in-home equipment Solid understanding of Customer Premises technology platforms and standards, in particular: In home CPE peripheral devices (.
CMs, STBs, Boosters, ###### devices) CPE Management protocols (.
SNMP, TR69 etc.) WiFi technologies and management (.
RRM, SON) Policy & Control Platforms (DPI, Probes, Content filtering, Parental Controls, Cable & WiFi PCRF, AAA, Radius) Service Assurance processes and tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, NMS systems) IoT and other Smart Home related technologies Experience designing and implementing service delivery platforms based on microservices Good knowledge of REST/JSON, SOAP/XML and key web front-end and back-end frameworks Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and LDAP, as well as experience with ETL Exposure to IT/Solution/Business Architecture with focus on OSS/BSS Solutions and system integration Understanding of E2E service provisioning, order management and core IT processes in the Fulfillment domain for fixed networks Provisioning, management and monitoring of CPEs in large scale Able to articulate a technical vision and develop a technology roadmap supporting the Product roadmap Able to lead design discussions, internally or with third party vendors Able to create various architecture artefacts with no supervision Exceptional analytical capabilities to gather and interpret technical information and to develop, recommend, and implement solutions Excellent overall communication skills, with the ability to communicate and to advise on complex technical matters to non-technical audiences Proven ability to consult and negotiate in a highly sensitive environment with often conflicting interests Fluent in English, other European languages are an advantage
