Excellent opportunity for an experienced Physical Organic Chemistry Scientist to join an established Contract Research Organisation at a time of expansion.

As a senior member of the team, you will mainly be office-based and responsible for managing both routine and bespoke work as well as mentor and supervise a small group of Scientists.

You will:

• Manage the delivery of routine and bespoke in vitro assays: planning, resourcing and ensuring the work is completed within defined time & budgets,

• Liaise with customers on a technical level to discuss their needs and how our client’s services can help,

• Manage a small team of scientists, providing technical guidance and training

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and ambitious Scientists with:

• A degree in Chemistry / Drug Metabolism / relevant subject and/or direct experience with Physical Organic Chemistry

• Strong experience with in vitro assays including assay design, validation and troubleshooting

• Previous experience of client communication on technical levels

• Management/training/mentoring experience

• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
