A market leading business based in Watford are currently seeking a permanent Accounts Assistant to join their busy department. This role would suit a recent finance graduate as it will offer the opportunity for lots of exposure.
Preparation of sales invoices on a monthly/quarterly basis Review Aged Debt report on a weekly basis and chase debt where necessary Deal with any queries arising from billing Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Provide variance analysis on costs, as and when required Assist in producing balance sheet reconciliations Refresh various month end reports Prepare Cost Centre reconciliations monthly Process intercompany invoices and update relevant tracker Update various trackers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis Upload budgets onto Coda Update Staff cost models monthly Ensure key vendors are paid on time Provide support to Ops admin team Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects
Skills / Experience Needed:
Intermediate Excel Skills IT literate Strong attention to detail Good team player Strong communication skills ability to deal with nonfinance people in the organisation Exposure to CODA preferred but not essential
The salary being offered for this role is £20£21k plus Study Support.
