We are seeking an exceptional fulltime Maths teacher to start in September at an outstanding private day school in St Albans and continue through to the end of the school year.
As a Maths teacher you will be required to engage and encourage pupils throughout Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in a highly academic, ambitious learning environment. Maths at Alevel and GCSE is essential, however if you have a second subject to offer the school is open to discuss this. The schools large Maths department achieves nationleading results at all Key Stages and offers excellent support and collaboration to all its staff.

This role would be on a fulltime basis to start at the beginning of the academic year. This historic school was opened in 1939 and rapidly grew through the 1960s as an independent school for boys. Further growth in the student population over the last ten years necessitated a further, and ongoing, programme of new building. Growth has also provided the opportunity to expand the curriculum, especially in the Sixth Form, where no fewer than twentyone subjects are offered at A level. It is located close to the M25 with easy access via car and bus from St Albans, Watford and Hatfield.

- QTS status or equivalent (overseas teachers will be considered with appropriate NARIC certification)
- Enhanced DBS or Overseas Police Checks if necessary
- An updated CV, covering the last 10 years of employment, with 2 recent references
