An opportunity has arisen to join the Older Peoples Services at ESNEFT as an Operational Co-Ordinator based at Ipswich Hospital.
You will be responsible for ensuring that day to day activity runs smoothly, liaising with multiple stakeholders both within and externally to the Trust. This role will cover both outpatient and inpatient activity
In addition, you will manage the administrative team, supporting them to move patients through their treatment pathways within appropriate timescales.
You will ideally have a proven track record of meeting deadlines and experience within a healthcare setting. You will also need to be a skilled communicator, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation and stakeholder groups. You will be a finisher, showing the determination needed to follow through and complete tasks in what is a busy but rewarding environment.
Whilst we are ideally looking for someone with relevant experience applications from those with demonstrable transferable skills will also be considered.
• The Operational Coordinator will take full responsibility for the day-to-day line management of administrative teams within their Clinical Delivery Group.
• The Operational Coordinator will be responsible for providing Leadership to the administrative teams and ensuring that a high quality comprehensive and efficient administrative service is delivered.
• The Operational Coordinator will be accountable for monitoring, assessing and reporting on performance within defined service areas. This will involve highlighting any issues to the Service Manager and identifying appropriate action to be taken. The Operational Coordinator will also be required to attend all relevant performance meetings with their Service Manager and will be required to deputise in their absence.
• The Operational Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the coordinating of the diaries for the Senior Leaders, facilitating the scheduling of key meetings and ensuring that a corporate diaries’ is maintained.
• The Operational Coordinator will actively participate in the production and maintenance of project workbooks, scheduling meetings, maintaining action logs and supporting the delivery of actions as directed by the Service Manager.
• The Operational Coordinator will facilitate the maintenance of effective relationships between Alliance partners and other key stakeholders, including providing administrative support for key meetings
