Who you'll be working with: Unlocking Language is a private speech and language therapy service boasting excellence and expertise in assessment and intervention of speech, language, communication, voice and swallowing disorders. We work with children, adolescents and adults. We pride ourselves in offering a functional and impairment based therapeutic approach. This role will be a mixture of office based and remote. The office is comfortable with kitchen facilities based in Canary Wharf. Remotely you will have access to the team through our business suite. What you'll be doing on the job: This role sits within the Operations department which consists of finance, HR, legal, IT, and marketing. The role brings together data that is collected throughout the organisation enabling us to make informed and data driven decisions. The job's main responsibilities: The Data Assistant will support the Data Analyst in all databases, CRM system, staff and client portals. You will be responsible for ensuring data is collected accurately and get acquainted with various systems to enable you to create accurate and reliable databases. Your day to day will include: Collecting client, staff and prospective client data onto various databases. Learning different inputting and reporting functions of databases. Collecting data from paper sources to databases. Consolidating all data entry forms in to online versions. Streamlining data collection into manageable online databases. Additional notes: The role can be performed remotely, but when it is safe to do so we prefer to work in the office most of the time so we can collaborate effectively.

The only requirements to qualify for this role are: Fluent English. Basic Microsoft Office skills Outlook, Word, PowerPoint. You are likely to succeed in this role if: You’re an organised and self-motivated professional, able to manage multiple tasks while staying focussed on your goals. You're willing to learn and identify where you need help. You’re a good communicator; you are confident in communicating your thoughts appropriately. Experience of previous database related tasks is desirable but not essential. We are looking for people who are willing to learn and work hard while they are with us.
Working hours will be within Mon-Fri 10am- (open to flexible working arrangements)

This Kickstart placement is delivered in partnership with Generation - a UK registered charity supported by ESF funding - delivering tailored programmes to support young people who have faced barriers to employment to thrive in work. Additionally, the employer has agreed to provide the following support 10 percent of time each week will be given to training and development activities. These will include: coaching from line manager, on the job training on company systems and software and job shadowing where applicable.
