FP&A Analyst, c£38,000 Per Annum
Your new company
Hays are working exclusively with a successful Biotech company based in Oxford, to find an FP&A Analyst to join their team and enhance the reporting across the business. It's an extremely exciting time for the company, having recently been acquired by a global pharmaceutical business, it's therefore the perfect time to join them!
Your new role
The purpose of the role is to provide senior management with the financial analysis and information they need to make operational, financial and strategic decisions.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for business partnering with business units, project managers, Directors and other senior stakeholders (finance and non-financial) to build and review budgets and forecasts, while providing detailed analysis and commentary to understand company performance. Other duties include building financial models to project company growth, analysis between budget and forecast and KPI reporting. Furthermore, you will support the production of Management Accounts, year-end accounts, HMRC reporting and VAT.
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need to be studying an Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA etc.) or qualified with experience, with strong analytical, reporting and planning skills. You will also need to have strong Excel skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
