Energy Manager

Are you an experienced Energy Manager with all of the technical skills and knowledge or a graduate in Engineering or Low Carbon Technologies? Are you looking for your first step into industry and within Energy Management? If so, we'd love to hear from you. This is 12 month fixed term position, with the opportunity to become permanent.

In the role as Energy Manager you will identify and subsequently take the lead on high value, energy projects, implementing robust energy-saving changes for our customers. Proficient in project management, the Energy Manager will conduct on site customer audits and then lead energy management partnership contracts from design to implementation. This also includes:

•Taking the output from an audit or survey to create a customer proposal and price that is then delivered to the customer. The proposal will include a range of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMS) that would lead to energy reductions and savings
•Analyse and profile energy consumption data to help identify energy saving opportunities
•Uses site data to remotely monitor, assess and report on the relative ongoing success of agreed ECMs
•Play a leading role in shaping the future of the Energy Solutions area by identifying new business growth opportunities that would demonstrate an increased commercial return and help meet business plan targets
•Interacts and builds long lasting relationships with a customer, often influencing at board level

Skills and experience
•Proven Energy Management experience or dedicated to becoming an Energy Manager
•Degree in Engineering or Low Carbon Technologies or of a related subject
•Experience in delivering energy projects and achieving energy savings
•Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
•Project management skills, being able to lead multiple projects at any one time
•Be comfortable with energy related mathematics and calculations
