We are currently looking to recruit for a French Speaking professional to join our client's team of Customer
Service Executives. This is an exciting role and is being recruited due to growth within the team. Working
alongside 2 others in the team you will report directly into the Customer Service Manager. This is a
telephone-based customer service role and 80% of your time will be speaking with both English and French
customers.

Duration: Permanent
Location: Outskirts of Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

This is an office-based position, and all relevant health and safety measures are now in place regarding
Covid-19, therefore it is essential that you are able to get to the office daily. Due to the nature of the role
speaking to French customers is also essential that you are fluent in both written and spoken French and
English language. It is also essential to drive for this position due to the location of this role being located
on the outskirts of the village of Waterbeach.

Duties will include:

  • Liaison with French and English colleagues and customers
  • Processing of customer orders
  • Setting up of new customers on the in-house database system
  • Invoicing and producing credit notes
  • Liaison with customers regarding shipment dates
  • Dealing with customer complaints
  • Support colleagues with taking telephone calls and messages
  • Use of Navision database for processing of orders
  • Use of MS Access & Salesforce

Skills / Experience Required:

  • French and English language skill is a must
  • Good communication skills, particularly on the telephone
  • Ability to manage large volumes of incoming enquiries via email
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Previous recent experience in an export environment is desirable
  • An ability to comfortably interact with customers from different cultures
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and cloud based CRMs an advantage but not essential
