Position : Net Zero Carbon Advisor
Location : Home based
Salary : £40,000 - £60,000
Specific Requirements :

PhD in a Technical subject Food Science , Food Manufacturing, Agriculture, Environmental Engineering or very similar. Training and career development is available and actively encouraged
You MUST already have the right to live and work in the UK without restriction

About The Company :

Due to the customer base being international, a degree of flexibility will be essential to enable you to work across multiple time zones.

About the role :

You will be working with third party, paying customers to help them to move towards net zero carbon emissions & carbon neutrality. This may done be via Zoom, MS Teams, other remote methods or face to face (depending on numbers, locations, restrictions etc)

Must be wanting to get involved in :

• Corporate decarbonisation programmes
• Energy efficiency and carbon emissions reductions for existing assets
• Low carbon & sustainable design & certification
• Strategy / project delivery experience
• Programme and project management and leadership

About You :

• PhD Qualified in a relevant engineering subject - Environmental Engineering, Food Science, Food Manufacturing & Technology etc
• Ideally willing to work towards Chartered status
• An interest in carbon reduction / climate control / environmental issues. Any experience of research or projects in net zero carbon frameworks, energy audits and NZC implementation methodologies is beneficial
• Knowledge or understanding of the various NZC pathways, carbon neutrality and net zero carbon declaration processes
• Experience in audit & verification of corporate carbon footprints is beneficial
• Project management skills
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely (including to an audience who may not be working in their first language
