Barnsley College has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Business Generation Advisor. The successful candidate will earn £22,000-£27,000 per annum.

The successful candidate will be delivering all aspects apprenticeships from Level 2 to level 5.

Role Requirements

Experience of generating business opportunities within the training sector.
Potential candidates will need to be able to identify, generate, and secure new business opportunities, with employers and learners to meet sustainable sales targets across all training programmes, which includes apprenticeships, commercial, adult skills and digital provision.
Role Responsibilities (not limited to)

Proactively target and generate sales leads across all provisions to achieve the income target.
Proactively undertake a variety of sales activity to generate sales leads for the business development team across all provision, targeting both employers and learners including but not limited to field sales, tele-sales, social media, networking & marketing.
Achieve/exceed agreed monthly targets.
Plan and evaluate own sales campaigns in order to meet own & business targets.
Identify learning and development opportunities, both funded and commercial, that support the employer in delivering their business objectives, goals & training needs.
Ensure all paperwork is completed timely and meets funding/business quality requirements.
Recruit candidates on to the relevant training programmes, delivering effective information, advice and guidance.
Engage in the implementation of quality systems.

Show a commitment to ensuring that children and young people learn in a safe environment.
Participate in relevant and appropriate training and development as required.
Ensure that all information is secured, used and maintained in line with internal and external standards including ensuring that confidential information is processed in line with the Data Protection Act and policies.
