Excel have a fantastic new opportunity for a senior/Director level sales manager specialising in rotary wing MRO and engineering operations to join a globally known and respected client based in the South West of the UK on a permanent basis.
This position will focus primarily on UK and EU markets to develop market growth, identify new business opportunities and management of such opportunities in order to achieve company sales objectives and exceed agreed targets where possible.
You will lead capture processes and business development activities to enable the award of contracts with major military rotary wing customers and enable growth across the MRO and Engineering Certification market sector all the while increasing the already successful operations of the company.
Holding responsibility for customer engagement you will have an extensive work history within the business development field, able to show outstanding communication, planning, leadership and decision making skills. A background within MOD/Military will be key, as will a good working knowledge of Government contracts and acquisitions in both the UK and EU if possible.
It goes without saying that a position at this level will require you to have a full understanding of the scope of aviation maintenance management with an expertise in engineering, business development and supply chain in order to present the best attributes of the company to potential customers.
