One of my biggest clients based in Crewe are looking for Software Developers to join their existing Development team. The Software Developer will be assisting the team moving from a monolithic based system to a full-service exposed architecture which has specific focus on the cloud.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Software Developer to be a part of a major digital transformation within the business, working on delivering projects from blueprint stage into full delivered systems. The project is a greefield project and would be a fantastic opportunity for any developer looking to undertake meaningful work and say 'I was a part of that' with all suggestions and recommendations made being listened to and taken on board by the wider team.

The Software Developer must have experience of working in an Agile environment, with great communication and interpersonal skills too.

The Software Developer will have experience in C#, and building RESTful APIs.

The Software Developer will be responsible for Developing, implementing and maintaining the solutions within the company, and supporting the team when required. The Software Developer must also analyse the impact of technology choices and be able to deliver high quality solutions. The ideal Software Developer will be conscientious and be able to demonstrate initiative and be creative in problem solving, along with proactively sharing information across the team to ensure best working.

Experience

  • Experience with any: JQuery, Angular/knockout/backbone, Bootstrap
  • Experience working a Continuous Integration environment
  • Experience with Design patterns such as Dependency Injection
  • Experience with Source control systems (TFS/GIT/SVN)
  • Experience with Agile Development using SCRUM

Understanding

  • Understanding of SOLID Principles
  • Understanding of TDD (Test Driven Development)
  • Understanding of DDD (Domain Driven Design)
