Responsibilities of Payroll Administrator:
To be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the hourly and monthly staff payrolls and personal data from start to finish Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data accurately (starters, leavers, salary and pension amendments, benefits etc.) Processing of monthly statutory payments (SSP, SMP etc) Administer and maintain time and attendance system and report changes Manage all payroll queries about earnings, deductions, attendance etc. Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and ensure complies with relevant law Resolve discrepancies in attendance and payroll records Honours confidentiality of employees' pay records Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review Produce and distribute all payroll documentation (payslips, P45, P60 etc).
- Required Experience and Skills:
Experience processing payroll input Experience in administering time and attendance systems Working knowledge of HMRC legislation, Statutory payment and Pension schemes Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with staff at all levels Strong Microsoft Office skills
