Payroll Administrator

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team

Duties include;

  • Processing of monthly and weekly client payrolls to deadline and preparation of payroll for BACS payments
  • Dealing promptly with client queries regards to statutory payroll regulations
  • Carrying out year end and reconciliation procedures
  • Processing all new starters, leavers and other amendments to salaries
  • Inputting, calculation and recording of SAP, SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Processing of relevant HMRC forms including P45, P46 etc
  • Undertaking the accurate calculations of gross to net
  • Assisting in updating client process procedural documentation
  • Assisting as required with admin duties of the department
  • Investigating and resolving (where possible) problems arising during the payroll runs and notifying payroll manager of these and any unresolved problems to ensure they are addressed on time
  • Keeping payroll manager up to date on all significant dealings with the clients
  • Keeping technically up to date with payroll related legislation
  • Pensions administration and auto enrolment
