Nevado Limited is an award-winning web consultancy that conceives, develops and operates digital businesses, either on behalf of clients or as part of our portfolio of home-grown ventures including theatre content and ticketing portal Theatreland and fantasy sports game Superbru.

We work with widely recognised brands, which include Belmond, Vodacom, Coca-Cola, Heineken, SA Breweries, Standard Bank, Land Rover and SuperSport, among others. Picking up a range of awards over the past few years, our expertise covers business strategy, technical architecture and development, creative design and production, search engine optimisation, app development, analytics, eMarketing & business consulting.

What will I be doing?

This role will involve developing and managing a portfolio of transactional websites and apps. Our clients include:

Belmond- providing exceptional travel experiences worldwide at its diverse collection of products.

Aspria - offering a select group of members’ health and fitness clubs and workspaces.

Superbru - a fantasy sports prediction site with almost 2 million users

Theatreland - the world’s largest collection of city theatre guides covering Broadway, the West End and over 100 other locations.

Your core duties will involve developing and managing new and existing features for these websites and building high-quality prototypes through the use of responsive and adaptive design. An important part of the role will be having direct contact with clients and you will have a natural talent for building relationships with them as well as the drive to deliver excellent and well thought-through service and intelligent advice. You will always be on the lookout for ways to improve and optimise the websites you work with in terms of functionality, site speed and alignment with business objectives.

How can I learn and grow?

You will work in a small multidisciplinary team of highly experienced consultants and developers, with plenty of opportunity for learning and growth.

You'll gain hands-on experience across a range of industries and gain insight into the technical challenges that come with each. You'll also be involved in decisions regarding web design and user experience and will contribute to more than just technical development.

The brands we work with are among the finest in the world, so their digital presence has to be of the highest quality. You will gain considerable experience of the multitude of big and small design and UX decisions that go into creating websites befitting of a high-end brand.

This is a permanent role, subject to review after an initial three-month probationary period.

Our ideal candidate:


  • Excellent written English

  • High levels of personal ownership

  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate that they are eligible to work in the United Kingdom at the point at which the role commences

  • At least one year's industry experience (this could be a placement year)

You must be capable of both coding to spec and actively analysing a situation and identifying and recommending the optimum solution to a complex problem.

Essential technical skills and experience

You must have prior experience in the following technologies and tools to be considered:

  • HTML
  • JavaScript
  • A modern JS framework (. Vue, React, Angular)
  • A back end language (. PHP, Java)
  • A modern version control framework (. Git)

Advantageous technical skills and experience

Experience in some of the following technologies and tools is not essential, but would be useful:

  • Atlassian products: Bitbucket / Jira Software
  • Spring Framework
  • SDL and SDL DXA
  • Docker
  • Postman
  • App development frameworks like React Native, Ionic or Cordova
  • Understanding of WCAG AA
  • Understanding of SEO best practice
