Our client is a leading UK Healthcare organisation. They are looking to recruit an Interim Senior Divisional Manager to join their growing management team. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Senior Divisional Manager to contribute to an exciting and fast-moving team.

Job Purpose.

Accountable to the Director of Operations, the Divisional Manager, will be responsible for providing operational and business planning and leadership for the Blood Sciences Division to ensure that the. Division provides a high quality service to patients, our owner Trusts and other customers and achieves its performance objectives.

To be accountable for the service across 8sites, leading and managing the delivery and development of the Blood Sciences service.

Performance Management

Manage the delivery of all agreed outputs for the Division, as set out in the business plan by:

Delivery of agreed performance indicators in relation to clinical outcomes, clinical efficiency and service line reporting
Ensure that all areas of the Division have clearly defined performance objectives supported by a management regime to deliver continuous improvement.
Develop and implement effective reporting arrangements to accurately record and monitor performance against targets and to pro-actively manage any variances.
Provide regular reports to the Executive Directors with assurance that appropriate follow up actions will be completed.
Hold Lead Clinicians, Deputy Divisional Managers, Clinical Scientists, and laboratoryManagers to account for delivery of their objectives through regular performance review meetings

Ensure and embed expected operational management behaviours and instil operational responsibility at every level of the Division.
