Desktop Support Technician required by a property development company based in East London. Part of a group of diverse companies, the organisation has innovatively centralised its IT support function allowing the team to experience multiple cultures, environments and technologies.
In this role, the Desktop Support Technician will provide 1st and 2nd line support services to just over 150 users in 5 locations, focused mainly on the two offices in Leytonstone and Shoreditch. Interestingly, this role will have mentoring responsibility allowing for a first step into management, which is the intended progression path. You will also benefit from the time to work on projects playing to your interests, be that networking, security, or indeed whatever takes your fancy.
The right Desktop Support Technician candidate will be experienced in delivering high-quality customer experiences supporting Windows environments, Office 365, Exchange, ScreenConnect or TeamViewer and networking issues surrounding configuration, LAN and WAN. You'll be familiar with the support of VOIP telephony and MDM.
Personally, you'll be proactive, with a genuine interest in furthering one's own knowledge in the IT area both at work and at home.
Please note that candidates must hold a full clean driving license and have access to their own vehicle (commute costs between sites will be expensed)
