Zapp operates through a series of "Zapp Stores" in each of its cities where our products and housed, ready for when order comes through, to pick and put in the bag of a waiting driver. The operational capability of these stores is what enables Zapp to deliver products to customers in less than 20 minutes. These Zapp stores are also supported by our Distribution Centres. Making sure that we have the right staff for these stores is absolutely essential for their success.

In this absolutely essential role, you will be responsible for the global hiring strategy for our store staff, including Location Managers, Supervisors and more. We will hire hundreds of these roles in a year and you will have oversight over the delivery of these hires, as well as ensuring the process is structured effectively for both the candidate and the business to identify the right individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global strategy behind Store hiring

  • Contribute to the strategy of other high volume recruitment such as Customer Service and Live Ops

  • Be hands on making our current processes more efficient, whilst building new exciting processes

  • Collaborate closely with people operations to ensure a smooth transition of candidates to employees

  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain and Expansion team to ensure handover for training and onboarding

  • Contribute to the broader strategy and structure of our recruitment team

Requirements

  • Track record of owning the strategy behind building highly successful high-volume recruitment team that has hired 100s per year

  • Highly process driven, with an enthusiasm for scalable high touch recruitment process

  • Highly analytical, using data to drive decision making

  • Hands on experience working with an ATS to improve recruitment process and candidate experience

  • Empathetic and supportive people leader and stakeholder manager

  • Up-to date with current trends in recruitment marketing and operations
