Deputy Technical Manager
Permanent (Full time)
As Deputy Technical Manager you will report to the School Technical Manager and will be responsible for leading and deploying the technical team. You will manage the Technical Operations Support Team and Research Team along with the School's Fly Lab ensuring the effective deployment of technical resources and the operational capability in order to provide high-level technical support to the School. You will manage the professional development and capability of the technical staff to manage the current and future needs of the School. In collaboration with the Technical Manager you will also design, develop, and deliver contingency plans for all technical services. Applicants must have a good MSc degree in a relevant Bioscience subject area (or have equivalent experience) along with experience of managing technical facilities, staff, and operations in a complex/demanding environment.
