They are an organisation of people pleasers and obsessives and they get any problem solved quickly and efficiently. Due to continued demand and growth, they're looking for an IT Technician to join their team!

Then Remit Training are recruiting on the behalf of our client Lost in IT (Liit) as they're looking for an IT Support Technician to assist their small but well established team of engineers! Our clients' comprehensive portfolio of technology services enables them to help their clients with today's demanding challenges, a trusted partner who their clients know will deliver what their business needs to keep it operational and safe.


  • Managing various helpdesk tickets
  • Keeping clients up to date on the status of their issues and potential resolution
  • Working as part of a busy helpdesk team
  • Supporting with troubleshooting a variety of technical issues
  • Gain exposure to larger projects within the business

Requirements and prospects
Skills Required

Previous customer service experience is advantageous
Personal experience/Hobby in helping with technology, building PC's or solving issues.
Have an interest in mobile technology and networks
Have a commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work
Demonstrate a methodical and structured approach to work
Have excellent communication Skills and attention to detail

Training to be Provided

The Information Communications Technician makes their contribution through the application of infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.

An Information Communications Technician (ICT) provides support to internal and/or external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and trouble-shoot routine and non-routine problems. This occupation supports clients/customers with their systems. They achieve this through monitoring and maintaining the systems and/or platforms to maximise productivity and user experience.

There are 3 pathways within this Apprenticeship which include:
A Support Technician
A Network Technician
A Digital Communications Technician

As a result, you will achieve:
Level 3 Information Communications Technician
Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required)

Opportunity for progression for the right candidate, subject to completion of the Apprenticeship and provided the Apprentice has shown the right skills and attributes.
