Our client is a leading training provider in Wales who offer a wide range of high quality apprenticeships. With a focus on quality they have been graded Good at last inspection. They are currently seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Assessor to work across the South Wales region.
They need a passionate individual who will support learners within the workplace in achieving relevant Frameworks. The role involves assessing learners and delivering workshops based around the Level 23 QCF in Health and Social Care and Essential Skills. You will be responsible for a caseload of learners ensuring timely achievement of Apprenticeship qualifications.
You must be a qualified Assessor i.e. Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (AVA) or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years occupational experience within a Health and Social Care setting (Adults) along with a minimum Level 3 occupational based qualification or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
The role is field based covering the South Wales area and you will be assigned to a work base in your area, with the future opportunity to become fully homebased.
Our client is offering a starting salary of £22,000 pa rising to £23,500 pa, plus a car allowance of £1800 pa There is the option to exchange the allowance for a company car after successfully completing the 6 months probation period.
