JustPhysio are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Health Phsyioptherapist to work with their client in Bristol .

Job Description:

To provide a leading Occupational Health Physiotherapy Service to clients with the aim of early return to work. This involves a positive biopsychosocial approach combining functional assessment with evidencebased treatment which is underpinned with excellent clinical care. Positions available throughout the UK.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Provide accurate, detailed and appropriate clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment to clients on a face to face or remote basis. Provide a concise and precise report to management indicating an employees fitness to work and detailing any adjustments with time frames. Identify, assess and advise on any workplace hazards or contributing factors to Musculoskeletal disease. Conduct workplace assessments such as DSE/Vehicle assessments as and when required and provide advice and recommendations as appropriate. Maintain clinical objectivity and impartiality at all times in line with occupational health guidance. Deliver effective evidencebased rehabilitation that adheres to national clinical standards. Utilise a biopsychosocial approach combined with functional assessment to address barriers to work and inform robust work recommendations. Complete comprehensive assessment and treatment records in line with company policy and national guidelines. Contribute to the wider health and wellbeing national initiative by utilising a holistic approach and working closely with the health trainer team to promote healthy lifestyles. Work collaboratively with other members of the clinical support team and admin team to ensure optimal case management. Positions available throughout the UK. General Tasks & Responsibilities:

Maintain continuous professional development (CPD) through reflection, participating in 1:1s, clinical supervision, team meetings and any other relevant CPD activity. Maintain excellent communication in a timely manner and proactively engage with clients, HR, operational management and colleagues. Liaise regularly with your line manager and escalate any complex cases as appropriate. Be aware and work within any agreed Key Performance Indicators and notify management if unable to do so. Prioritise work with effective time management to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within set timescales / KPIs. Work proactively taking initiative and responsibility at your site of work. Actively contribute to the overall effectiveness and development of the clinical service Awareness of relevant legislation. Be aware of responsibilities placed upon you under the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) and ensure that agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for all To undertake any other duties compatible with the grading of the post, as required Person Specification:

Education & Qualifications

Formal Clinical Physiotherapy Qualification (E) Full Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (E) Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (E) Evidence of continuing professional development (E) Postgraduate training in Occupational Health/Ergonomics (D) Member of Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health & Ergonomics (D) Experience & Knowledge

Experience of using computer software including Microsoft Office (E) Occupational Health Physiotherapy experience (D) Previous experience of using online/computerised reporting templates/databases (D) Experience of providing functional assessment and fitness for work advice (D) At least 3 years postgraduate clinical experience (D) Skills & Abilities

Efficient and well organised with the ability to work with minimum supervision Clear and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing Ability to provide detailed reporting to the client on patient progress using standardised report templates Ability to audit clinical records and outgoing reports to ensure that core clinical standards are maintained A thorough understanding of clinical governance
