Public Sector Sales Executive (Scotland)

Our client are a well established company, who provide visitor management systems. The successful candidate will have experience of selling products and solutions to public sector accounts. You will demonstrate the ability to provide a consultative sales solution, able to uncover problem areas within your client and provide compelling solutions.Your role will be to sell the full range of the companies products available within this sector, and promoting New products to existing customers, and new accounts. Successful candidates could be located in Dumfries, Galashiels, Edinburgh, Kilmarnock, Glasgow, Falkirk, Kirkcaldy, Paisley, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness or Kirkwall. You will be responsible for:improving and growing business within your territoryachievement of sales targetsopening a minimum of 100 new accounts annuallyensure that a minimum of 16 new business calls are completed weeklyprepare a minimum of 30 cold calls weekly for the contact centrevisit a minimum of 10 customers weeklyrepresent the company in a courteous and professional mannerestablish a rapport and build good relationships with all customersgive customers the best possible service at all timesmake appointments with existing customers or new prospectsask for referrals in each of the accounts either internal or externaladhere to good working relations with colleaguescreate business plans to achieve targets and prospects to achieve planset objectives for existing customersenlist with local business groups to help networking for referral purposesliaise daily with contact centrecomply with the business wishes of the sales managerpresent the companies range of products to customers / prospects using the organisations call guidance as per sales trainingresearch and revise product and business knowledge to maintain level of understandingmaintain sufficient samples, data, equipment etc to fulfil each appointment professionallymaintain the company vehicle as required keeping it clean and tidy at all timesensure you are well groomed and dressed appropriately for all company businessRequirementsThe successful candidate will have:preferably 2 years experience of selling into public sector or commercial and industrial outlets including cold calling, opening accounts and extending products in usemust be enthusiastic and able to communicate well with customersmust be self-motivated with a confident yet friendly demeanourmust show the right attitude to the company the customers and the rolebe prepared for hard work, change and new ideasbe computer literate and able to utilise computing equipment for demonstration and reporting purposesBenefitsIn return our client will offer world class training opportunities, car scheme, basic salary of £30,000 with an OTE £55,000, competitive company benefits and realistic commission structure, and on-going support from your line manager.
