A large and successful brand who is on the London Stock exchange and is one of the Times fastest growing companies has acquired 2 new brands in the last few years. We are now looking for a Technical Chemist Account Manager/ Account Manager to join one of them!
£40k-£42k OTE Bonus + Car.

Depot based in the WEST MIDLANDS, but the Territory is the SOUTH EAST.
You can be based anywhere where you can travel to the South East of the England.

The CHEMIST experience and Account Management experience is very important.

This role requires someone to have a Chemist Account Management Background in Sales. You will be dealing with a lot of Technical queries and really finding a solution on site for customers.

This is fully an Account Management role, so having strategic Account Management experience is important but also you must be metric driven!

You will be going to brands and listing and packing the waste for it to be disposed of

Producing and maintaining individual Account Management plans for each client within the defined portfolio

-To develop a pipeline to manage and measure business growth, business development and contracts at risk

-Managing customer contract expectations and service level agreements/key performance indicators

-Support other members of the commercial team on large bids with a hazardous aspect

-Regularly review pipeline progress, evaluate and review strategy and approach

-Visit customer sites to comprehensively list waste and obtain as much information as possible to pass to the technical team prior to any collection

-Sample waste streams as and when required

-Ensuring customer's contractual requirements are implemented and being aware of significant market or trading impacts on the customer

-Manage customer renewals and account development in accordance with internal governance and approval processes

Key Skills:

Critical Qualifications and Training Prior to Employment

-Chemistry Degree or Significant experience in hazardous waste technical sales
-GCSE English and Maths or equivalent skills to enable you to perform the role
-Full Driving License
-Proficient user of Microsoft Office

Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience Prior to Employment

-Hazardous Waste Sales/Technical Sales Support
-Knowledge of hazardous waste legislation and supply chain
-Proven track record in providing an excellent customer service
-Negotiation skills
-Fact based intuitive business forecasting
-Solid Commercial knowledge and experience of added value sales in the waste and recycling marketplace in the UK
-Excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills
-Team player
