Service Desk Engineer – Middlesbrough / Remote – Up to £28,000 + On-Call + Benefits
This well-established software organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Service Desk Engineer to join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. The key to this role is customer service and hence you will be a good communicator with plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation who are looking for a Service Desk Engineer to provide support to clients. They are looking for someone with a background in supporting a variety of applications and a track record of picking up new tech quickly. The position will initially be remote based with the opportunity for flexibly agreements moving forward.
Provide high-level technical support to customers and internal teams.
Process Service Requests for customers and internal teams
Take ownership of customer support issues.
Supporting web applications and e-commerce solutions
Working to agreed SLAs and ensuring daily/weekly targets are met.
1+ years’ experience working in a Service Desk environment
Experience supporting a variety of software / hardware.
Linux server support beneficial
An understanding of REST APIs beneficial (. JMeter, Postman etc.)
