What is special about this opportunity?
We are proud to be offering all of our colleagues the real living wage of £ per hour from 1st October 2021, making the annual salary for this role £18,278 (Pro Rata)
We currently have Scheme Support Officer vacancies across two of our projects:
Our Kerrigan Project provides support and accommodation for 9 people including one emergency bed unit. The project is aimed at people who have complex needs including a combination of substance misuse, offending and mental ill-health. The project also provides emergency provision for up to 5 rough sleepers per night.
Our Bridgend Local Support service is a drop-in base for anyone who needs immediate support around Housing, debt and homelessness prevention.
We provide housing and support to improve mental and emotional health, reduce re-offending, access sustainable housing and maintain independence within the community. The people we work with are also encouraged and supported to develop life skills, engage in volunteering, education and training opportunities with the aim of becoming more independent and less reliant on support services.

* We have permanent posts available:
* 1 x 37 hours Bridgend Local Support
* 2 x 37 hours Kerrigan Project
* Shifts are allocated on a rota basis and will include evenings, weekends and nights.
* For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.
* It is essential for the successful candidate to have a full drivers licence and access to a vehicle.

You will assist the Project Workers in delivering a tenancy related support service to our clients residing within Vale of Glamorgan. The role is a rewarding one with a varied number of projects that cover homelessness, young people, offender services & complex needs.

This role requires flexibility along with enthusiasm, motivation and creativity. You need the ability to work on your own initiative in a busy and dynamic role as well as being a positive team player. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
