In order to succeed we are looking for a self-motivated colleague with a sound understanding of sophisticated software development processes from start to finish; from system design, project management to hands on development.
A professional who can apply a creative and proactive approach to problem solving in order to develop a software platform and Lab Analytics technologies to improve our customers lab efficiencies.
You will be collaborating across a global and multifaceted R&D team and other functions in the business.

Primary Responsibilities; Translation of market requirements into a software architecture and module designs for your area of focus.
Module development through formal development methodology.
Ability to optimally articulate technical challenges and solutions.
Develop new or enhanced technical solutions to improve performance Contribute to continuously improve processes and practices.

- Glasgow Qualifications have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field Software design and development experience with at least one of the following languages.
.Net C , C++ or Java.
A proven track record of successful project implementation.
Experience or knowledge with enterprise databases and database design including SQL Server or Oracle.
Real world ETL tool experience using SSIS or AWS ETL Tools, or similar tools.
Experience with report generation tools like SSRS or similar Experience using formal design methodologies and a structured development process Worked in an Agile development environment such as Scrum with Jira Apart from these skills, an advantage to have the below; Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like QlikSense, PowerBI, or Tableau a plus.
Knowledge\Experience with and AWS cloud services development.
Web-based product development a plus ( or Angular preferred).
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (ideally with Jenkins and GIT) preferred.
Knowledge and experience working with offshore teams is a plus.
