Water Hygiene Service Engineer
Due to business increase, this Industry specialist seeks a Junior level Service Engineer to work on a range of water hygiene/water treatment projects across London and the South East.
Joining a friendly company with strong staff retention, you will undertake all aspects of water hygiene/water treatment works for all types of water systems and water treatment equipment across a diverse customer base, from FM, to the food and leisure industry, and construction companies.
As a service engineer, and ambassador for the company, you will ensure customers receive the best possible service at all times, and work is completed to the highest standard.
You will continue to develop and maintain your knowledge of water hygiene practices and legislation, and water treatment products ensuring any training requirements are highlighted to your manager.
You will also be involved in water treatment equipment commissioning, assisting the equipment team.
The majority of work is based in London, but also covers the South East, but there will be occasional requirements to go into central Berks offices 2-3 times a week (on way to or from work), so you will need to ideally be based within a realistic commute of Reading Wokingham, Bracknell, so Windsor, Maidenhead, West London, Oxford, Farnborough, Woking, Guildford, Farnham, Winchester, Horsham and directly down to the Hampshire coast with easy access to motorway /main road links.
This will also include working a 1 in 3 weekend rota (paid as additional overtime).
The ideal candidate will have some practical site-based water hygiene experience under their belt, but will also consider those with plumbing experience looking to move into water treatment, so plumber's assistant, junior plumber, plumber's mate etc.
Either way the following will be required:
* Minimum GCSE's/'O' Levels or equivalent.
* Full UK valid driving licence.
* Excellent communication and planning skills.
* PC Literate (standard MS office and outlook).
* Ability to work on their own with excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Need to be living within a realistic commute of central Berks, (Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell), so Windsor, Maidenhead, West London, Oxford, Farnborough, Woking, Guildford, Farnham, Winchster, Horsham and directly down to the Hampshire coast with easy access to motorway /main road links.
Plumbing and or electrical qualification desirable, but not essential.
A negotiable salary is offered (dep on relevant exp and skills) +company van+fuel card+laptop+mobile+bens incl service award scheme and excellent career progression +training as necessary!
