We have used some of the challenges over the last 8 months to ensure that we offer the best possible levels of care to our patients and this newly created post will support the Pharmacy Governance strategy with the successful postholder involved in some of the outstanding initiatives that we have been developing, whilst supporting the Pharmacy Governance Manager & Trust Medication Safety Officer in providing assurances relating to quality improvement initiatives and supporting the Pharmacy workforce in achieving their aspirations around person-centred care. To be successful in this role we need to appoint an efficient and hardworking individual with experience in hospital pharmacy and governance practices. We need you to have ambition and to think creatively, someone who can inspire those around them to develop themselves and their practice. We want the successful candidate to engage with all members of the Pharmacy team and beyond, a real team player who can think collaboratively and in an organised manner, a person who will meet deadlines and facilitate learning and demonstrating what a good service looks like, someone who will investigate and question and be able to understand both factual and emotive information they may receive.
