Our Cardiff based client requires an experienced, in-house recruiter to focus on talent attraction, engagement and retention within a busy, care environment. The ideal candidate will drive forward recruitment whilst building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the role and team in relation to future hires. You will naturally demonstrate a fresh and creative approach to recruiting whilst proactively providing recruitment advice and solutions.

Reporting to Company Director, the successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager on a day to day basis. Permanently based at the Head Office function with social distancing measures in place, this organisation employs approximately 130 staff and operates across 7 different sites.

There is a continued need in each business area to increase staff turnover.

Duties include:

  • Ongoing, quality recruitment of domiciliary care workers
  • Talent attraction and candidate retention
  • Social media recruitment campaigns
  • Conducting interviews and on-boarding induction programmes
  • Actively sourcing suitable new recruits
  • Controlling level, standard and calibre of applications
  • Establishing relationships with local job centres/colleges etc to generate recruitment activity
  • Focusing on volume AND quality
  • Oversee Administrator responsible for DBS checks, compliance and safeguarding paperwork
