Our client, a well-respected domestic and corporate moving specialist, now seeks to appoint an experienced Move Manager to be based in Nottinghamshire. With a proud heritage of going above and beyond what is required on every project they manage and a reputation for unwavering levels of professional sensitivity, they are market leaders in their approach to specialist domestic and commercial removals, secure storage and logistics solutions. They are now looking to employ a talented, motivated enthusiastic person to join their team as a Domestic and Corporate Move Manager. You will have Industry experience, be bright, committed and want to be part of a close knit team. You should be a ‘people person’ who is diligent with a good dose of common sense. You will have a proven and strong admin skillset. This is an A-Z Move Management role, predominantly co-ordinating Domestic moves, from first enquiry through to completion. Apply today to find out more! Responsibilities: Domestic: Answer phones, make appointments for surveyors and enter details into Moveman. Input survey results (once checked) into Moveman from surveyors, produce and email quotes. Answer queries via email and phone from clients. Take bookings including taking payments, invoicing and sending confirmation emails through Moveman. Arrange box deliveries and collections. Ensure invoices are logged with Transport and the banking sheet. Book self-drive hire bookings and invoice in Moveman. Speak to clients with regards to ongoing removals (late-key charges) and any other issues. Hand out van hires. Keep Fuel system updated (sign cards in and out). Corporate Accounts: Provide rates on request to accounts – reply with accurate, detailed information as quickly as possible Build & maintain good relationship with file handlers. Receive and book UK & European moves from accounts – check availability with Operations first. Book dates with operations. Enter all details into MoveMan ensuring all dates are added & mapped to correct account. Check through survey inventory for all relevant information & detail on the paper file. Check access on google. Book any parking permits needed ( through Carlton). Order any cases needed ( through Carlton). Add the move onto MBL invoicing spread sheet. Advisable to keep a diary of managed moves. Make sure all paperwork received from account in good time and check this on receipt. Contact crews during the move to ensure things are running smoothly and keep account updated. Advise account of any additional services needed and costs to be added to final invoice for approval in advance. Ensure paperwork received back on completion of the move & scan over to account file manager. Invoice accurately and timely. * Provide any final feedback. European: Book and manage all private & corporate European moves. Build up traffic for Europe trips – keep Manager updated with available & pipeline moves. Contact agents for any return loads – provide rates to agents. Check Portals and quote on moves on a regular basis. Put together trip files – ensure all correct paperwork in folder. Check and type up trip run sheet – see separate guide. Make any necessary customs clearance arrangements. Book any shuttles and assistance needed in good time. Keep in contact with crews during the trip ensuring moves are going to schedule. Keep accounts updated with progress of moves – report any issues and ensure resolved quickly. Ensure paperwork returned and scanned to accounts. Invoice as quoted plus any additional services provided
