Medical Science Liaison - Neurology/CNS - South UK


Permanent (Full time)

Avery specialist opportunity has arisen with a highly-successful Pharmaceutical company in the process of launching a new product within the Neurology/CNS Market. Our client is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to enhance and communicate complex, cutting-edge scientific information across the south. Thesis a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organisation with numerous product launches expected over the coming years.

Essential Requirements

You will be highly competent in Medical Science Liaison with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Ideally this will have been gained working within Neurology/CNS.

Relevant Medical / Pharmacy / Nursing /Bioscience background (higher degree and relevant registration preferred).

Extensive field-based MSL experience with a Pharmaceutical company.

Good knowledge of compliance regulations.

In-depth knowledge of local, regional and national healthcare systems and processes for allocation and delivery of care.

A current driving licence with no more than 6points.

Role Responsibilities

Work collaboratively and effectively with all field-based teams and internal stakeholders, including providing scientific expertise through training, development of presentations and ad-hoc support

Actively plan and participate in advisory boards, clinical investigator meetings and other key medical activities in linewidth the medical strategy

Contribute to the successful delivery of clinical development programs and compassionate use programs

Identify, establish and maintain professional relationships with national, regional and local key opinion leaders and allied health care professionals (HCPs)

Respond to unsolicited medical/ technical enquiries from HCPs in a timely manner using expert knowledge, providing accurate, fair, balanced and non-promotional scientific information/presentations relating to licensed and unlicensed indications

Undertake all activities with a focus inpatient benefit and work collaboratively with HCPs to identify opportunities to support and enhance patient care
