We are currently working with an SEMH school in Colchester who are seeking a learning support assistant to join them. The contract is flexible, they can offer both permanent and fixed term contracts. We are looking for experienced practitioners with a background in helping challenging pupils. We really want them to be confident when working around SEMH pupils. This is a job that requires a strong and confident personality.
This is a part-residential school, providing a very special type of education to boys who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties. In the Autumn Term 2020, the school moved to a brand new purpose-built provision in quiet village near Colchester. The successful applicant will start immediately.

The person appointed will be expected to make a significant contribution to the academic, moral and cultural well-being of students. Applications are welcome from established support staff who have a proven track record of academic success as well as individuals keen on a career in education.
