We are now looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join our team based in Taunton. The Role: The Data Analyst will support the Data and Regulatory Reporting Manager in ensuring that high quality Management Information on environment and sustainability performance is available across the Group; and that reporting to our environmental regulators is carried out to a high standard and based on verified data and information. You'll support the Data and Regulatory Reporting Manager to develop, implement, and maintain fully populated Environmental management information systems, processes, and tools which support all businesses and functions. You'll establish value adding information from data sources designed to eliminate and minimise risks. The Data Analyst will provide routine and ad-hoc statistical reports for inclusion in standard Environmental and Sustainability reporting processes and you'll maintain CPD programmes as required. Additionally, you will provide training and awareness to all relevant staff in the use of the Environmental monitoring and management systems, processes, and tools where required. Our ideal Data Analyst will have: A Level or equivalent qualification in Mathematics or Statistics, and Chemistry Knowledge of trend spotting and data interpretation Understanding how to adapt processes and systems based upon continuous improvement concepts Experience of maintaining accurate databases and developing IT applications Highly IT literate with excellent Numerical and Analytical skills We are offering the successful Data Analyst a competitive salary and a package including contributory pension scheme, optional healthcare and a range of flexible benefits.
