We’re currently looking for an Extra Care Administrator to join our team based in Redruth. This role may be 1 x full-time post or 2 x part-time posts.
- Salary of £18,278 - £20,886 per annum (pro rata) dependent on experience

You will be joining a diverse, creative and enthusiastic team supporting our goal of helping our local community and providing sustainable housing across Cornwall.
What’s more, this is the perfect role for someone who may wish to work part-time around other commitments.
As an Extra Care Administrator, you will provide a first-class administrative service to the Miners Court Management Team, offering a wide range of administrative support.
Specifically, you will maintain customer care and support plans, action customer spot checks and provide cover and support to the Front Desk Co-ordinators on reception when required.
Additionally, you will work as part of a team to deliver work that meets service level agreements (SLAs) and will provide great customer service via our portal, email, phone and face-to-face.
To be considered as an Extra Care Administrator, you will need:
- Previous experience within an administrative role
- A professional telephone manner, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to plan, prioritise and manage work to ensure specified deadlines are met
- Experience of dealing with confidential information
- Excellent IT skills, . MS Office, Excel
- The ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths at grade C or above
A basic DBS check will be required.
Previous experience of minute taking would be beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of the care and support sector. A diploma in Customer Services, or the willingness to undertake one, is also desirable.
