Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a well-established and aspiring Company in the Blackpool area. This business are a brand leader in their niche industry and are expanding to meet the needs of their strong client base. They are therefore interviewing for a Credit Controller to join their already experienced team. This is the perfect opportunity for a motivated and aspiring individual looking for their next step in the finance industry.
Your new role as the Credit Controller:
As the Credit Controller, you will report directly to the Finance Manager, whilst working as part of a small credit control team. You will be making contact with clients in regards to outstanding payments, building relationships with internal and external customers and ensuring clients pay on time. In addition you will be processing and allocating payments, dealing with internal queries in a timely manner and responding to client queries. You will be resolving problems efficiently whilst dealing with non-payment issues or unresolved queries in an effective and professional manner. Lastly, you will be assisting in the preparation of relevant reports and liaising with solicitors and bailiffs when appropriate.
Experience & Qualifications required to apply:
To be considered, you must be possess at least 2 years experience in a similar role. Ideally you will have advanced Excel and computer skills, excellent communication abilities and impeccable attention to detail skills. In addition, you will be capable of problem solving, possess analytical skills and capable of working well under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate that you are well-organised, able to work to strict deadlines, possess strong negotiation skills and able to to discrete when required.
