About The Role
We are currently in the process of developing our product sales function to support the wider business in growing this existing revenue stream. We are looking for an Mechanical Supervisor to join the newly created Workshop and Support Desk.
The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the creation, management and operation of a specialist mechanical workshop facility.
In this busy role your duties will include:
The optimisation of all aspects of the mechanical asset cycle in order to ensure assets are delivered on time, to the correct location, to the highest quality standard, from supply chain through to customer delivery.
Daily, monthly and annual asset programming control to ensure service delivery to internal customers within the network at all times ensuring the highest customer standards.
Working in conjunction with the Specialist Industrial locations to optimise the full potential of the company’s assets by maximising utilisation, quality and availability.
Responsibility for the effective recruitment, management and development of all reporting lines.
Ensuring that all activities are fully compliant with current health, safety and environmental legislation.
Assist in delivering sustained growth and profitability through operational effectiveness and service excellence.
P&L control through managing overheads in line with current and future revenue company vehicle will be provided for work purposes only

About The Candidate

To succeed in the role you will have the following:
Industrial hire product knowledge
Mechanical equipment servicing qualification and/ or experience
Good interpersonal and communication skills - including negotiating and influencing. You’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers
Able to work both independently and as part of a team - you'll be an effective team member with a highly supportive, collaborative approach
Demonstrate good leadership and administrative skills
Prior Experience in Workshop Management (Desirable)
